Key Hadith Regarding the Body as a Trust:

Accountability for the Body: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Man's feet will not move on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, how did he consume it; his knowledge, what did he do with it; his wealth, how did he earn it and how did he dispose of it; and about his body, how did he wear it out" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2417)

Rights of the Body: The Prophet (ﷺ) stated: "Your body has a right over you" (Sahih al-Bukhari 5199). This implies that over-exerting oneself in worship or work at the expense of health is contrary to the Sunnah.

Stewardship: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock" (Sahih al-Bukhari 7138). This covers the responsibility to care for one's physical and mental well-being.

Trust in Allah's guidance and the wisdom of the Sunnah.
